A Year of Giving: Supporting, Great Ormond Street, Papyrus, and Prostate Cancer
We’re excited to share the incredible journey we’ve had over the past year, raising funds for three amazing charities that touch our hearts. The combined generosity of many has empowered us to create a substantial positive influence on the lives of those who require assistance.
Great Ormond Street Hospital
We began our fundraising efforts with the renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital, a world-leading children’s hospital providing exceptional care to young patients in the UK. Their work is truly inspirational, and we were determined to help make a difference. The unique sponsored walk based on walking to all the stops on the famous monopoly board over the course of 12 hours successfully raised £3165.00 to aid the hospital in continuing their life-saving work.
Papyrus – Prevention of Young Suicide
Our second charity focus was Papyrus, a charity dedicated to preventing young suicide and supporting young people struggling with their mental health. Mental health is a vital issue, and we wanted to show our commitment to making a positive impact. Our fundraising initiatives included a charity skydive. We’re delighted to report that we’ve raised £2725.00 to support Papyrus in their essential work, giving hope to young individuals.
Prostate Cancer UK
Our final stop on this incredible journey was Prostate Cancer UK, an organization dedicated to supporting men affected by prostate cancer. We recognized the importance of raising awareness and funds for this cause, as prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in men. Our fundraising activities included the annual Dick Taylor Fishing Event and The Nuclear Races Obstacle mud run. We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve raised an astounding £8706.00 (£5855.00 and £2851.00 respectively) to support their mission in providing invaluable research and patient support.
In total, our year of giving has resulted in an astonishing £14,696.00 raised across these three charities. We’re immensely grateful to everyone who contributed, whether through donations, volunteering, or simply sharing the message.
The combined generosity has made a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
